Dr. Nasim Montazeri joined the Sleep Laboratory as a Postdoctoral Fellow under Dr. Azadeh Yadollahi’s supervision in March 2017. She received her Bachelors in Biomedical engineering and Control electrical engineering from Amir-Kabir University of Technology (Tehran Polythechnique) and her Master degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Her PhD was based on double degree program between Sharif University of Technology and University of Rennes 1 in Rennes, France. Her PhD thesis focused on the development of novel algorithms for early-detection of Apnea Bradycardia in preterm infants from one channel of ECG using Bayesian Network. Her major research interests lie primarily in the area of biomedical signal processing, respiration and sleep analysis.
